Shri A. B. Jatti High School, Tikota
Shri A.B. Jatti PU College (HS), Tikota, is one of the esteemed institutions run by the prestigious BLDE Association, Karnataka. Established on 20 March 1963, the institution has been committed to providing quality education and nurturing young minds.
The academic year 2025–26 commenced with the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge. As per the directions of the Association and the Education Department, the student admission process was initiated in the month of June.
At present, the school offers education from Classes 8 to 10 in Kannada medium.

Academic Planning and Student Support
At the beginning of every academic year, the annual school timetable and class-wise timetables are prepared, and all subjects are taught as per the schedule. Formative, summative, and unit tests are conducted on predetermined dates for all classes.
Special attention is given to Class 10 students to improve academic performance. Morning and evening special classes are conducted throughout the year. As per department guidelines, the school has implemented 29 action points to improve SSLC results. Students are grouped according to their learning levels and guided by individual teachers who monitor their progress closely.
To support slow learners, the 40+ course is implemented as per departmental guidelines. Resource teachers from other schools are also invited to conduct special classes. Teachers regularly follow up with frequently absent students through home visits, parent interactions, and online communication.
The school celebrates national festivals, birth anniversaries, special days, and various programmes that encourage students’ physical, cultural, and creative development.
In December, the school organised an educational tour to important places in Karnataka and Maharashtra, giving students valuable exposure beyond the classroom.
For the current academic year, 259 students are appearing for the SSLC examination. The school staff is working sincerely towards achieving excellent results.
