ASP College of Commerce
Commerce education plays a significant role in making our world a better place. It not only prepares future generations for trade, commerce and business activities but also provides an improved livelihood to the people at the bottom of the pyramid by empowering them.
Recognising this immense power of commerce education in social transformation, BLDEA established ASP College of Commerce way back in 1961. The college is named after Shri Atalatti Siddanagouda Patil who made liberal and generous donations for its establishment.
The college is affiliated with Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, and has NAAC accreditation with A grade. The college offers three undergraduate courses, namely B.Com, BBA, BCA, and two postgraduate courses, namely MCom and MBA, which is approved by AICTE.
The UGC granted it Autonomous Status in 2007 for UG Programme and in 2008 for PG programme. Many value-added courses are also offered.
The college is located in BLDE Association's new campus on Solapur Road and has excellent infrastructure. Of the 24 classrooms, 19 classrooms have information and communication technology facilities. The college has a student strength of around 1,200 and a strong faculty team which includes nine PhD holders and seven MPhil degree holders.
